PRAY FOR HAITI 40 DAYS OF PRAYER DAY 21

Dear Friends and Colleagues in the Faith:

PRAY FOR HAITI 40 DAYS OF PRAYER DAY 21
1Samuel 9:2
He had a son named Saul, an impressive young man without equal among the Israelites—a head taller than any of the others.

In our world today, how you look and how impressive you are is everything. Looking good and being impressive will get you the contract, the job, the notoriety, people easily get asked to go out on a date because of their looks. There is a lot of emphasis on the external but very little on the internal; the heart the mind the intentions and motives, the things that really drives a person. Man looks at the outward appearance but God looks at the heart. Though how we speak and conduct ourselves in public are very important however, they should not be the reasons to place anyone in leadership. Any person, groups of people or even a nation who has experienced hardship can be easily deceived by impressive people looking and playing the part of a leader. Saul was impressive physically but when you follow his career as a King he was an emotional and spiritual wreck and destroyed many lives. Let us pray and ask God that the Haitian people be not deceived by impressive people but seek a person after God’s own heart.
