PRAY FOR HAITI: 40 DAYS OF PRAYER DAY 10
Scripture 1 Chronicles 29:12
Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all.
There are some who aspire to become political leaders for the purpose and potential of attaining wealth while receiving honor from man (Two of mankind’s great desires). Haiti is no exception. As one of the poorest countries in the world this may seem to some as the best way out of poverty and receive honor from man. There are 68 different political parties, 900 candidates applying for 99 positions in the senate and 19 presidential candidates; all for a country of only 9 million (The population size of NYC). Though monetary gain is not the case for all who are running for political office in Haiti nevertheless; we must earnestly pray and as ask the Lord to raise into power those who know that Wealth and honor come from God the ruler of all things and not from man. Let us continue to stand together in passionate prayer for the future of Haiti and its leaders.
