PRAY FOR HAITI 40 DAYS OF PRAYER DAY 16

Dear Friends and Colleagues in the Faith:

PRAY FOR HAITI 40 DAYS OF PRAYER DAY 16.

Scripture:
Luke 11:2 When you pray, say Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. (KJV)

When Jesus taught His disciples how to pray he began with words that would have been surprising to the religious leaders of that day. "Abba" Dear Father which is equivalent to calling God "Daddy". The Jews had several names for God to avoid saying His holy name. In fact YHWH (no vowels) is the original way of saying Yahweh because the Jews would not dare fully say the name of God. But Jesus who had personal and intimate relationship with God the Father taught his disciples to address God in a personal and intimate way “Daddy” because of His great love for us. Tonight as we Pray for Haiti keep that in mind. How we have a personal and intimate relationship with God and can ask Him for anything. Haiti is now under the treat of a hurricane in the wake of the cholera out break. Let us as our Daddy to intervene.

With U4 Him
