PRAY FOR HAITI 40 DAYS OF PRAYER DAY 13

Scripture : Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach to any people.
The popular belief is, in order to make a nation successful and thriving we must stimulate the economy; create jobs, encourage trade, manufacture products etc. All of these are good however, it is not economics that exalts a nation but righteousness. The righteousness of a nation comes when we elect righteous people who will put in place righteous policies. This creates an environment for the economy to flourish. The economy is a result of the policies that are in place which is a result of the people that are in place. Tomorrow is the mid-term election in the US and on November 28th full elections in Haiti. We have an opportunity to see Proverbs 14:34 come alive and our countries flourish as we pray and vote for righteous men and women to serve in both nations.
